Crossing the Cistern

Need help getting your GPA back on track? Crossing the Cistern is a momentum program that helps students improve academic standing as well as support, challenge, and celebrate students along the path to graduation. The primary goals surround the inclusion, retention and well-being of students, with a particular focus on diverse student populations. The program features scholarship support, academic advising, professional mentoring, extracurricular programming and interactive peer communities to help students navigate the academic experience. The duration of the program is spring 2021 semester. 

School of the Arts Eligibility:

• sophomore or junior

• minimum 24 credit hours

• GPA: 1.8 - 2.5 (This requirement differs by hours earned.)

Student Support:

• $250 per student for spring 2021 semester

• potential additional funding to support experiential learning initiatives
