Special Benefits for 2002 Charleston Antiques Symposium Participants We are pleased to make you aware of special opportunities for people enjoying in the 2002 Charleston Antiques Symposium. Saks Fifth Avenue, Charleston is hosting the Opening Night Reception after Dale Couch's lecture on Thursday, March 14, 2002. Saks will be presenting a gift from Clarins Cosmetics to everyone who attends the reception. Those Symposium participants who are not able to attend the reception may go to Saks during the Symposium and request their gift at the Clarins counter. As an added benefit for the School of the Arts, Saks will donate ten percent of all purchases made by Symposium participants from March 14 through 17, 2002, to the School and its programs. Please be sure to identify yourself as a Symposium participant to the sales associate in order ensure proper credit for the School of the Arts. The Historic Charleston Foundation is offering a special admission rate of $5.00 per person to those Symposium participants who visit the Nathaniel Russell House at 51 Meeting Street or the Aiken Rhett House at 48 Elizabeth Street between March 14 and 17, 2002. (To ensure that you have adequate time to explore these historic properties, please visit them between 10:00 and 4:00 on Thursday through Saturday and 2:00 until 4:00 on Sunday.) Please show your participant badge at the gift shop at each location in order to receive this benefit. The Gibbes Museum of Art is offering reduced admission (a $2.00 reduction per person) to its galleries for Symposium participants between March 14 and 17, 2002. Please show your participant badge to the front-desk receptionist in order to receive this benefit.
