The School of the Arts presents several music series and special concerts, including the Monday Night Concert Series, International Piano Series and the Charleston Music Fest, as well as opera and musical theatre performances, jazz concerts and choral concerts. There's also a vigorous theatre season, as well as lectures in art history and historic preservation and community planning, studio art lectures and events, arts management workshops and events and unique exhibitions and lectures at the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art.
